heart cupcake toppers.

with valentines jut around the corner, i've been looking for simple and fun crafts to take on. the cupcake craze is contagious - so why not add a little flair with these adorable toppers. the following tutorial was posted on craftzine by lish dorset. i'm going to go ahead and post a summary of it here.

use a large hole puncher to get the desired circles, use different color cardstock - pink, creme, white, red; simply tape the circle to the back of a toothpick. if you are wanting to make it double sided, use a flatter toothpick to make it easier, glue the circles together (or use double sided tape, whichever is available). you can purchase heart stickers at your local craft store, or buy the stickers shown above from martha stewart's crafts. when finished, add to your cupcakes to make them picture perfect for your valentine.
